How to change the batteries on a 2GIG motion detector
Before replacing batteries in any sensor, first put your alarm panel into test mode so it won't send any tamper signals once you open the sensor to access the batteries that need to be replaced.
You don't need to take the whole thing off the wall. You can just remove the set screw and pop the front off from the back plate, then put it back on the back plate once the batteries are replaced.
