Dashboards
In addition to providing access to your cameras, Savi can also integrate with your point of sale system (POS). The dashboards tab provides you with data and information coming through the integration with your POS. This puts data and cameras all in one platform. The charts and graphs you see in the dashboards are interactive. You can click on a graphic and drill down to get more specific information on any metric you want.
There are several subtabs available here, Sales, Loss Prevention, Drive-Thru, etc. Each of these focuses on specific metrics. If you are concerned about the use of Discounts or Voids, you want to go to those specific dashboards. While here, you can look for anomalies or anything else that stands out to you. Take what you find here and go to the “Events” tab to input the filters for whatever you have found. What previously may have taken hours of footage watching to find can now be identified with a couple of clicks.
Events
Now that we understand what we are looking for in the dashboards, we can start to review the transactions under the Events page. Under the page you will see at the top left our dynamic search function, this will allow you to search by Store, Employee name, Flags, Labels, and Event Types by simply typing the relevant information into the search box. You also have the ability to quickly filter by the same categories with a simple click of the icons directly to the right of this search box.
When you are ready to review an Event, simply click on the transaction listed, this will pull up all relevant details of the Event. At the top left of this page you will see the transaction ID, directly below this will be the Video Clip of this Event, keep in mind this typically captures 30 seconds before and after the transaction is completed. To the right of this video is the Receipt, this will show you the details of what was processed on this ticket, this should include the TXN ID, Employee Name, Register ID, and Payment Type along with the items purchased, returned etc.
Audit Scorecard
Now that we have a good understanding of the VMS and Dashboards let’s take a look at your Audit Scorecard. This sheet is meant to assist you in tracking your team's performance while not in store, this tool will cover 3 categories of compliance. These can be adjusted to match your specific store standards if needed. Click on the attachment at the bottom of the article to view the audit scorecard.
Apply Label/Comment
When you are done reviewing the video and details you can also select a label for this transaction from a Training Positive to Theft marker, this will help you filter these specific occurrences later in the search box. You can also enter notes at the bottom of the page to help keep track of what happened and what was determined on the ticket.
